History
The Morton Ranch FFA Chapter was founded in 2004.

It started with four members known as the "Cornerstones". We presented Austin Phelps with the first Morton Ranch FFA Jacket. Our First State Qualifying LDE team was Senior Chapter Conducting and the First State Qualifying CDE team was the Livestock Judging team.

Brittany Bates was the first Morton Ranch FFA member to recieve grand champion animal with her steer followed by Paul Gonzalez with his pig. Patti Gregiore was the first MRHS Student to recieve Grand Champion Lamb at a County Show at Harris.

In 2007 the Ag-Issues consisted of Stephanie Kozel, Kaitlyn Kelly, Michael Brading, Tara Neese, Jennifer Frie, Bria Richard and Ryan McClane. The Ag-Issues team was led by Mrs. Wilson and was 1st at District advanced to be 2nd at Area and advanced to State. The livestock and Meats teams both advanced to the state CDE contest.

In 2008 the MRHS FFA made history with 3 LDE teams advancing and placing at the State LDE contest. Sr. Skills - Austin LaMarr, Garrett Reed, Joseph Hay, and Zac Robbins placed 10th;  Job Interview - Patti Gregoire placed 7th; and Sr. Chapter Conducting - Austin LaMarr, Katy Barber, Patti Gregoire, Kristen Gibson, Garrett Reed, Michael Morrissey, Lizza Delgado, and Dylan Robbins placed 7th. For the 1st time ever Morton Ranch FFA took home  AREA Sweepstakes.  The Dairy Cattle Judging team consisted of Cassy Hottensen, Kristen Gibson, Bria Richard, and Ryan McLane. The Dairy Cattle Judging team was led by Mr. Peters and placed 1st at District then 3rd at Area where they advanced to place 4th in the State. The Meats Judging team consisted of Garrett Reed, Joseph Hay, and Austin LaMarr. The Meats Judging team was led by Mr. Oliver and placed 1st at District, 1st at Area and advanced to state where they placed 24th.
